Why should we care about this issue? There is only one Earth and we should take better care of her. Global warming affects our health, economy, weather patterns, certain species are becoming extinct. Most alarming is the bee population has declined to dangerous low levels in recent years. You say so what? They are just bees.. I hate to sound preachy but bees are highly responsible for our plants and the reproduction of plants. They help to pollinate the flowers so that they can produce. With no plants, cattle and other grain eating animals have nothing to eat This is just one species that is disappearing. Polar Bears are another.
